Blog Post 1, Week 5: Is Islam A Peaceful Religion?

Yes, I think that Islam is a peaceful religion because I don’t think that there are really any violent religions. I looked the main values of Islam and none of them were violence so to me that shows that people of this religion are not actively seeking violence out. In addition most people are always looking to find peace in things so I do not see any reason why people would assume that just because a person believes in Islam that they would be inherently violent.
